The Chamber Choir of UR was founded in 1988 by Prof. Marta Zoszak-Wierzbieniec.
It is a part of the Institute of Music and consists of graduates and students of specialization
Musical education as part of arts education. During its fourteen year activity, the Chamber
Choir many times has taken part and been awarded in local and International contests,
among others in Sweden, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
It has also performed in many festivals of chamber and organ music in Sandomierz,
Leżajsk, Radom, Rzeszów and Koksijde in Belgium. Between 1998 and 2001 the choir
gave concerts in Austria, Belgium, Belorussia, Slovakia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic,
Sweden, and Switzerland. The Chamber choir also performs at scientific conferences
and symposia organized by authorities of the University.
