At the Faculty of Law there are 74 academic teachers employed: 5 professors, 12 post-doctoral degree holders, 32 doctors, 25 Master's degree holders and 1 technical employee.

The history of UR Faculty of Law
The history of the UR Faculty of Law began with the establishment of a branch of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie University in Rzeszów on 18th April 1969 by Regulation of the Ministry of Education and Higher Schools. Then the Vocational Administration Study Centre was set up and since 1972 extramural Master' studies. Daily Master studies of law were started in 1980. The Faculty of Law has been at the University of Rzeszów since 1st September 2001. By a decision of the State Accreditation Board the Faculty of Law obtained a positive overall result.

Department of Legal Comparative Science
administrative procedure institutions, regulation of administrative procedure on the comparative background, customs procedure, financial law in the state and European union, constitutional courts in European countries, election of president in European countries, determinants of constitutional contents of human rights' catalogues in Poland and the world, the right to live in contemporary constitutions, problems of copyright in case of works published on the Internet, using the Internet in the work of a contemporary lawyer, international and European criminal law

formalisation of administration - organisational elasticity, rationalisation of administrative structures, bureaucracy

Department of Civil and Labour Law
employee information and consultation, evidence, licence for using a trade mark, protection of constancy of labour relation in the autonomic labour law, stating of representativeness of trade unions in practice, amendments to act on court costs in civil cases, particularly including costs from the scope of labour law and social insurance, a principle of equality of religions in the Polish Republic, an employer's responsibility for damages executed by an employee, a'preliminary contract, procedure in matrimonial cases

Department of Commercial and Economic Law

Department of Constitutional Law

Department of International and European Communities Law

Department of Public Law

Students take part also in placements in Great Britain within Leonardo da Vinci Programme.

Under resolution no. 166/2005 PKA (The State Accreditation Committee) of 19th May 2005 on the "Assessment of the quality of Education at Master's level", the Faculty of Law received a positive assessment.
